Exciting LearnSTEM Visit to Uzbekistan! 🌍

The representative from NEU coordinating the project, Hayriye Ulaş Taraf, had a fantastic time introducing the LearnSTEM project at Bukhara State University on February 25-26, 2025! 👋

Teachers and researchers were engaged and eager to explore how LearnSTEM’s innovative approach can enhance STEM education. A huge thank you to our wonderful colleagues in Bukhara for their warm welcome and insightful discussions!  Looking forward to future collaborations and seeing LearnSTEM in action. 🤝

  ✨ National Workshop: Teachers Test Our Learning Platform! ✨📚  

Educators from various schools in Greece 🇬🇷 and Romania 🇷🇴 gathered to explore and test our innovative learning platform in our testing partner schools-  IEK Kavalas (Greece) and Colegiul Tehnic „Haralamb Vasiliu“ (Romania)  ! 🏫💡

During these interactive workshops, teachers:

Shared good practices and experiences 🤝
Tested the platform firsthand 💻
Evaluated its impact on teaching & learning 📊

🏁 Final Meeting in Kirsehir, Türkiye

The partners of LearnSTEM have met on the 3rd of December 2024 in Kirsehir, Türkiye at the premises of Yusuf Demir Bilim ve Sanat Merkezi.

As part of the final meeting, the partners had to discuss the last steps of the project.

Furthermore, many regional teachers had the chance to visit and learn about the project’s outputs. They were introduced to the project’s aim, partners and the e-learning platform. They had a look at the platform and were very impressed by the work of the consortium.

It was a great and fruitful meeting, a lot of thanks to every partner and the participants!

Sweden Unveils New STEM Strategy to Boost Skills and Competitiveness in Europe

🚀 Sweden’s Government is set to launch a new STEM strategy by the end of 2024, aiming to boost the number of individuals with strong skills in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM). The strategy will focus on enhancing STEM education from preschool to university, with a special emphasis on improving maths and increasing female participation. 💡

By collaborating with businesses and stakeholders, Sweden’s approach mirrors the EU’s focus on nurturing digital skills and STEM expertise to drive sustainable growth and innovation across the continent. Higher education institutions are also contributing insights to ensure more students pursue and complete STEM programs, ensuring Sweden stays competitive within the European innovation landscape. 🌍
